The Network Speaks!
Hello,  My name is Glendora Williams and I was a 2007 Deserve Award recipient. I want to thank you again for honoring me with this award and making me feel that I was worthy of it. I have never gotten an award that was so deserving. I would like to commend Survival Instinct for developing a much needed organization where people can come and share their feelings and talk about their health issues in general without feeling ashamed or embarrassed.  In 2005, I had to come to terms with speaking out about my cancer, ovarian diagnosis.  I was one to keep it quiet because I did not want everyone to know and to feel sorry for me. I still have a problem with speaking in public but wanted to write to Survival Instinct, The Network to say "thank you" I feel strong with this organization, and know that I will get the help that I may need because they will go out of their way to find any and every resource possible. I have never been involved with a company that is so loving and caring. They need a DESERVE AWARD
Thank you again for the award and for being there for me when I really needed a friend and felt I was battling cancer alone. I went through my journey and counted on you to be there for me and you were.  I never felt this way about any company or organization. I love you all. Keep up the good work. WE WILL SURVIVE!

The experience I've had being with Survival  Instinct as a supporter has been truely rewarding.  Information received from their chosen guest speakers cannot be measured.  From nutrition, to what questions to ask your physicians about your conditions, plus hearing the journies from the sisters at meetings can inspire you to always have hope and never give up. I would like to thank "SIT NET" for giving me and others inspirations care and support

My mom was a breast cancer survivor and although she passed away in 2003 (not from cancer but a heart attack) I still support the cause because it could be any one of us who may have to travel this road - me, my sisters or family or friend!!!

P.S. I truly enjoyed the cultural celebration on December 29th, and I applaud SIT NET for all you do…May God Bless you Always.

 The Network Speaks!

I find myself sometimes wondering where I would be had I not been diagnosed with cancer in Spring of 2007, and then I look at my life now and say the best years is yet to come.  I want to thank the members of SitNet for helping me to move forward in my life and always being there just to talk or listen.  Thank you.

The Network Speaks! I attended you "Wings of Hope" Cancer Walk this past October '07, and I must say as a new organization your guys really did make an impression on me and a few of my friends who "joined in" on your walk on Watson Ave and Westchester Ave.  My Aunt is currently battling cancer and when I told her of your organization she was excited and plans to join your walk in 2008.  Also, I plan to become a member of your WOMEN group, so this mean I will see you the first Saturday of each month! Keep up the good work and stay in the BRONX!
